The Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Post provided high-level all-around postal services from September 1 to 5 to all participants in the first China-Eurasia Expo in Urumqi, capital of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
The Xinjiang Post gave top priority to mail security during the Expo and formed special work panels to monitor and carry out work in this respect.
China-Eurasia Expo is an important platform for expanding all-around, high-level, multi-field exchanges and co-operation between China and Asian and European countries. It is modeled on the highly successful China Urumqi Foreign Economic Relations and Trade Fair.
The Expo was co-sponsored by 27 related China ministries, including Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region government, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps of CPLA, the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
