Beijing opened on August 24 four retail stores selling licensed London Olympics products. This marks the first time in Olympic history that a non-host country has been permitted to sell Olympic licensed products.
The four outlets are Zhongguancun Post Office, Xueyuanlu Post Office, Beitaipingzhuang Post Office, and Shijicheng Post Office, each of which has on sale more than 300 items, including badges, key chains, mascot toys, porcelains and silks. They also provide a ticket booking service.
