On the morning of June 22, Stamps Commemorating the 90th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC) went public in the China Post Stamps Museum and the China Millennium Monument in Beijing, the site of the First CPC Congress in Shanghai, and in Fuzhou, Changsha, Nanchang, Xi'an, Yan'an, Guangzhou, Jiaxing, Liping County of Guizhou Province, Zhugou Revolution Museum in Queshan County of Henan Province, Yinchuan, Xuzhou and Wuhan.
The commemorative stamps include a set of six titled, Beginning of An Era, Revolution, Running the Country, Tide of Reform, Turn of the Century and Scientific Development, and one sheet of miniatures. The designer chose the flying CPC flag and other images symbolic of the Party during different periods to showcase the Party's past 90 years.
The stamp exhibition Red Sun in the East, hosted by the China Post Group and co-hosted by the China Post Company, China Post Culture and History Center and China Post Stamp Printing Bureau, opened at the same time. The exhibition comprises 200 frames of stamps and pictures.
