China Post and the Tom Group Launch A B2C Website2010-03-15The B2C website www.ule.com.cn, co-invested by the China Post and Tom Group, was launched officially in Beijing on August 10 2010.
Vice General Manager of the China Post Li Guohua and CEO of the Tom Group Yang Guomeng, on behalf of the two groups, attended the launching ceremony.
The website began its trial operation in October 2009 and has attracted over 1,000 domestic and foreign brands with more than 20,000 online commodities.
Its online goods has seven categories, including costumes, bags and accessories, personal care, home living supplies, food and health care products, baby products and digital appliances.
It provides a full range of subscription services-online subscription through the Internet, mobile phones, and off-line subscriptions, such as ordering through catalogs, post offices and the 11185 hotline and site service.
The China Post provides sales, logistics, payment collection, and warehousing services. The Tom Group invests to promote the website and to offer technology and operation support for the platform.
