China Post released a special Confucius-themed stamp set at the Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters in Beijing on December 1, 2012.
The special set includes two stamps, themed 'Communication' and 'Teaching'.
The release of the special stamp set is in conjunction with the eighth anniversary of the Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters. It also aims to spread Chinese Confucius culture around the world. The stamp set also represents part of the mutually beneficial collaborative efforts between China Post and the Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters.
A Confucius Institute Post Station launched by the Beijing Haidian District Post Office was also established on the same day.
The Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters is a public institution affiliated with the Chinese Ministry of Education, committed to providing Chinese language and cultural teaching resources and services worldwide. It makes every effort to meet the demands of foreign Chinese learners and contribute to the development of multiculturalism and the building of a harmonious world.
