PSBC Wins Award for Service to Small Businesses2013-12-30The Postal Savings Bank of China (PSBC) won an award from the China Banking Regulatory Commission for its excellent financial services provided to micro- and small-sized enterprises in 2012.
Established in March 2007, the PSBC is a commercial bank that was set up amid reforms to the postal savings management system. Over the past six years, the PSBC has built a nationwide financial services network with more than 40,000 branches. The PSBC has insisted on clear market positioning by serving the rural economy, communities and small- and medium-sized enterprises.
By the end of November of 2013, PSBC has provided more than 15 million loans to micro- and small-sized enterprises, accounting for 1.8 trillion yuan (US $296.64 billion).
