Commemorative Postmarks Launched Marking the War Against Japanese Aggression2014-03-12

Jinan City Post Bureau, of east China’s Shandong Province, launched a commemorative series of postmarks on March 1, 2014, to mark the Victory Day of the Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, and the National Memorial Day for Nanjing Massacre Victims.

The Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislature, made a decision on February 27, 2014 to set September 3 as the Victory Day of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, and December 13 as a national memorial day to commemorate the victims of the Nanjing Massacre (1937).
