The 2014 Kahala Posts Group CEO Board Meeting was held in Xi’an, capital of northwest China’s Shaanxi Province from September 1-3. Forty-six representatives including CEOs of post enterprises and representatives from 10 countries or areas in the world including Australia, China, Spain, France, China’s Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, the UK, Singapore and the US, as well as members of the Kahala management group attended the meeting.
Themed on ‘Working together to serve the cross-border e-commerce market”, the meeting aims to provide an opportunity for the postal enterprises in the world to communicate on the development of postal businesses and on their cooperation.
Li Guohua, president of the China Post Group Corporation as well as the chairperson of this year’s Kahala Postal CEOs’ Committee attended the meeting and gave a speech. Li noted in his speech that in order to meet the new market demands with the development of e-commerce, all postal enterprises should take advantage of the good cooperative mechanism of the Kahala organization to work together to provide better services to cross-border e-commerce business.
All the attendees had a deep discussion on the many important issues affecting the industry, including the market environment of cross-border e-commerce trading, collaboration and many other issues during the meeting.
