Li Guohua, president of the China Post Group Corporation, met with James Gorman, Board of Directors chairman and CEO of Morgan Stanley, on November 18 in Beijing.
The two sides discussed strategies for further strengthening the two sides’ future communication and collaboration.
Li, who is also chairman of the Board of Directors of the Postal Savings Bank of China (PSBC), said that the PSBC has developed rapidly since 2007, increasing its rates of fixed assets and profits ahead of all other banks in mainland China. Li hoped the two sides would have more collaboration, especially on management, risk control, and staff training. Gorman also expressed hope that the two sides could achieve a higher degree of collaboration in the future by taking advantage of their respective resources.
