Among all souvenirs, Disney stamp collection folders and cards issued exclusively by China Post Shanghai are among the most popular with visitors at the newly opened Shanghai Disneyland Park.
Sales of the two products have entered the top 10 list of the 7,000 items on sale in the past 30 days, an unpredicted result that has boosted China Post's confidence and enthusiasm for innovation and transformation.
The cultural and creative products have integrated postal elements with Disney characteristics, demonstrating the unique charm of "Disney plus China Post".
"Surprisingly we found a beautifully designed Disney stamp collection folder after playing happy games, which my son has always liked. It makes up for his regret that he couldn't buy on the day of issue because of an exam," said Mrs. Liu, a woman who took time to bring her son to the park during the summer holiday.
Construction began on Shanghai Disneyland, located in Pudong, Shanghai, in 2011, with the park opening on June 16 this year. Part of the Shanghai Disney Resort, it is operated by Walt Disney Parks and Resorts and Shanghai Shendi Group through a joint venture between The Walt Disney Company and Shendi Construction.
