Staff from a branch of the China Post Group in Xuzhou City, east China's Jiangsu Province, speak with visiting clients about environmental protection.
On June 2, all municipal-level and county-level branches of the China Post Group in Xuzhou City, east China's Jiangsu Province, set up new information counters to answer customer's questions in relation to environmental protection.
Meanwhile, China Post also launched an initiative to help local residents collect and recycle waste batteries. Anyone that brings used batteries in to a post office in the city will receive a free book.
In fact, a strategic agreement was signed between the Xuzhou Municipal Branch of the China Post Group and the Xuzhou Fund for the "Protection of Natural Environment and the Construction of an Environmental-friendly City" earlier in January to instruct local postal staff to further promote concepts and knowledge in connection with environmental protection when they serve clients.
