China Releases Special Stamp Commemorating 20th Anniv. of Diplomatic Relations between China and Bosnia and Herzegovina2015-09-09

Dragan Covic (L), chairman of Bosnia and Herzegovina's tripartite Presidency, and Li Guohua (R), president of China Post Group, jointly unveil "commemorative stamp" in honor of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Bosnia and Herzegovina at the headquarters of the China Post Group in Beijing on September 2.

China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the China Post Group held a ceremony for the release of a "commemorative stamp" in honor of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Bosnia and Herzegovina at the headquarters of the China Post Group in Beijing on September 2.

The newly released stamp shows both country's national flags and historic architecture. The Yangtze River was also added to the stamp to signify the positive development of bilateral relations between the two countries in upcoming years.

Those in attendance of the unveiling ceremony included Dragan Covic, chairman of Bosnia and Herzegovina's tripartite Presidency; Josip Brkic, vice foreign minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina; Borislav Mari?, ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina in China; Chen Bo, the Chinese ambassador in Bosnia and Herzegovina; Li Guohua, president of China Post Group; Li Pizheng, vice-president of China Post Group; and staff members from the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

At the release ceremony, Covic, who was in Beijing to attend China's V-day commemorations on September 3, said that he would like to strengthen diplomatic ties with Chinese leaders in the coming years and showed his deep gratitude towards the Chinese Government and people for their assistance through various channels in the last two decades.

Li (president of China Post Group) said that bilateral ties between the countries had been growing steadily for the past several years adding that the newly released stamp would inspire further cooperation between the two nations and their people's mutual understanding.
