Hundreds of Hangzhou citizens in east China's Zhejiang Province waited in long lines to buy 2016 G20 Hangzhou Summit commemorative stamps that went on sale on August 27.
It was the first time the G20 Summit was held in China and the first issue of commemorative stamps for the event.
"I came here yesterday afternoon," said a man surnamed Zhou cheerfully as he got the first stamp. "For such an important international summit, it is worth waiting. I will keep them as souvenirs."
To serve the needs of stamp collectors, eight postal outlets in Hangzhou started sale of the commemorative stamps at the same time.
