China Post participated in the third Light of Internet Expo in Wuzhen, east China's Zhejiang Province, on November 15 as a part of the 2016 World Internet Conference.
Themed "Internet + China Post, the China Post pavilion presented its convenient rural e-business and finance and delivery services through simulations, multimedia and physical displays that depicted its development in online and offline services.
Party Leadership Group Secretary of the Ministry of Transport Yang Chuantang inspected the pavilion, affirming the development of China Post's rural e-business and expressing his hope that China Post will play a better role as a state-owned enterprise servicing agriculture, rural areas, farmers and poverty alleviation.
Visitors streamed into the China Post Pavilion, learning about China Post's development and comprehensive public services, as well as online services.
More than 310 companies took part in the Light of the Internet Expo, an important part of the World Internet Conference, held annually in Wuzhen by the Cyberspace Administration of China and Zhejiang provincial government. The conference included 16 forums covering 20 hot issues such as the Internet economy, Internet innovation, Internet culture, governance in cyberspace and international cooperation on the Internet.
