China Post officially launched the Second China Postcard Design Contest in Beijing on July 28, unveiling a collection of featured works from the first China Postcard Design Contest at the same time.
President of China Artist Association Liu Dawei attended the event. Vice General-Manager of China Post Zhang Ronglin delivered a speech.
“The contest aims to promote traditional Chinese culture, convey real feelings between people and enhance social harmony,” Zhang said.
“China Post will continue the work with determination and in the spirit of innovation to expand and strengthen the development of creative postcard culture,” he said.
The contest's deadline for submission of design works is late-July 2018. It has been improved in scale and specifications compared to the inaugural contest.
It will include a touring painting and calligraphy-art postcard exhibition and youngsters’ competition, making coverage wider and cultural themes more diverse.
Organizers will also launch a series of themed promotion activities on campuses and in some parks during the competition to help the public feel the charm of traditional culture at close quarters.
It has exquisite prizes for public voters. Please log onto the China Post advertising network (www.cpac.com.cn ) or follow its official WeChat public account for details.
