China Post recently developed strategic cooperation with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) of Malaysia to jointly promote the ASEAN cross-border e-commerce at a sub-forum of the 14th China-ASEAN Expo in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, in September 2017.

The kick-off ceremony of Malaysia local commodities store was also launched on China Post's online shopping website ULE.com on the same day.

Zhang Ronglin, vice-general manager of China Post Group, attended the event and met with Ong Ka Chuan, second minister of International Trade and Industry, Malaysia, who made a special trip to the event.

Zhang said that China Post is a large modern service group, whose business scope covers domestic and international postal services, financial services, postal express delivery and logistics services, as well as the online e-commerce platform.

He pointed out that the cooperation between the two sides has broad prospects and unlimited business opportunities and China Post will make further efforts to expand their cooperation relations.

Further details of the Malaysian online products released on ule.com were discussed at the same time.
