The postal test launch ceremony of the ‘Train from China to Europe: Yiwu to Poland’ was successfully held at Yiwu West Railway Station on January 24, which indicated that Yiwu City, east China's Zhejiang Province, has become the second city to carry out a postal test after Chongqing.
The 100 outbound mail of the real receipts test, which set out from Yiwu, inaugurated a train service between the two countries with its arrival in Poland’s Warsaw Mail Processing Center 15 days later where it completed the terminal distribution.
To do so, it first had to cross Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, and then Poland.
This test applied the intelligent security lock to the regulation of the domestic segment of the ‘Train from China to Europe: Yiwu to Poland’ for the first time.
Customs information, like international express waybills, mailing lists, and mail delivery bills, can be directly stored and read and were under unified supervision in places of departure, transit and customs, avoiding customs unpacking and changing of model of transport at the point of exit and keeping the original state.
