Six service staff members of China Post Qingdao were formally stationed in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Qingdao Summit Media Center in east China's Shandong Province and began to provide postal services for domestic and international journalists and guests on June 6, 2018.
The 18th SCO Summit was scheduled from June 9 to 10 in the media center. The media center for the summit opened on June 6 to journalists from both home and abroad.
All of the six postal workers have been selected after meticulous screening and received many rounds of service etiquette training.
They could communicate in Russian and English, and showed the whole world the professional, efficient and high-quality service of China Post.
The SCO, founded in 1996 as a group known as the Shanghai Five, is a loosely configured economic and military alliance between the People's Republic of China, the Russian Federation, the Kyrgyz Republic, and the republics of Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. India and Pakistan joined SCO as full members on 9 June 2017 at a summit in Astana, Kazakhstan.
