In recent days, college admission letters have started to be delivered. China Postal Express & Logistics has prepared personnel and vehicles, and strictly regulated postal services to ensure that the letters are delivered to the examinees in a timely, safe and accurate manner.
Li Futang, a mail collector at the company's Chanba branch in northwest China's Shaanxi Province, received the first college admission letter of the province from Xi’an Jiaotong University (XJTU) on July 6, 2018. He handed the letter to Zhang Yuhao, a student in the High School Affiliated to XJTU, 40 minutes after Li finished the information processing and sealing procedures in Chanba branch.
"I learned the night before that I was admitted to the junior class of the school, and I didn't expect to receive the letter of acceptance so early, thanks to the good service EMS offered us," said Zhang.
A mail collector at Taiyuan branch in north China's Shanxi Province immediately contacted the examinee Chen Yidan after collecting her letter of admission, which was the first one in Shanxi, on July 11, 2018, and delivered it in no time.
"Each letter of college admission is individually sealed and filed. And mail is handled in strict accordance with the frequency and time limit of the mail operation, to ensure the safety and accuracy of the mail delivery," Gong Lihong, a leading official at the branch, said.
Li Qiang, a mail collector at Shenyang branch in northeast China's Liaoning Province, sent this year's first college admission letter to Gao Yuchen, an examinee in Shenyang, after checking the identity information of the recipient on July 13, 2018.
According to preliminary statistics, the branch has collected more than 97,000 letters of college admission and delivered 35,000 of them by now.
In order to serve the examinees better, the branch has worked out a detailed operation plan involving transportation, sorting, delivery and inquiries, to get the right processes in place.
