CCTV News has reported on the “Great Change -- A Large Exhibition to Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up,” saying that China's express industry has witnessed a great leap forward in the past 40 years on November 30, 2018.

It has developed from a one phone and a car model to a huge express transport fleet, which combines sorting, distribution and transportation, and achieved intelligent control. The rapid development of the express industry not only facilitates people’s life but also promotes the development of e-commerce and the pace of poverty-alleviation in remote areas.

CCTV News told the story of Liao Xiuying in Ruijin City, east China's Jiangxi Province, who helped villagers get rid of poverty through China Post e-commerce. With the help of China Post in the past three years, Liao's salted duck eggs have developed from a retail business to large-scale industrialization. Her salted duck egg cooperatives have cooperated with 94 poverty-stricken families, and formed a duck egg industry in neighboring towns. Liao has also won the National Prize for Fighting against Poverty and the National March 8th Red-Banner Pacesetters awards.
