The Xi'an Nian -- Authentic Chinese-Style Commemorative Envelope is issued in Xi'an, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, on December 29, 2018. [China Post]

On the occasion of the launching of the cultural activities for the Spring Festival themed “Xi'an Nian -- Authentic Chinese Style” in the Xi'an Chan-Ba Ecological District, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, a Xi'an Spring Festival-themed commemorative envelope was issued on December 29, 2018.

China Post Xi'an set up its main venue in Chan-Ba Ecological District and affiliated venues in 16 outlets in Xi'an City to distribute free commemorative envelopes to the public.

Afterwards, the event was carried out successively in all cities of Shaanxi Province. China Post Xi'an joined forces with nine major cities in the country to hold commemorative envelope distribution activities and issue invitations to the people of the whole country to celebrate the lunar New Year in Xi'an.

It was one of the activities carried out by China Post Xi'an and the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Xi'an Municipal Committee after they reached a cooperative agreement on the “2019 Xi’an Nian -- Authentic Chinese-Style”project.

The commemorative envelope features Dayan Pagoda, the Xuanzang Buddhist sculpture, the Terracotta Army and other local elements, which highlight the profound historical and cultural heritage of Xi'an and reflect the warm, joyful and splendid activities during the event.
