A delegation led by Liu Aili, president and secretary of the Communist Party Committee of China Post Group, went to the Beijing Confidential Communication Bureau for an inspection and to convey New Year's greetings in Beijing on February 1, 2019.
Liu inspected the production process of mailing, sorting and transshipment of confidential mail, as well as the garrison and security monitoring of armed police at the bureau. He expressed his gratitude to the hard-working postal staff who were fighting on the front line, and conveyed New Year's greetings to them.
The Beijing Confidential Communication Bureau has delivered 160 million confidential pieces of mail with no accidents or errors in the past 29 years.
After listening to the bureau's report on the work of confidential communications, Liu highly praised their achievements, fully affirmed their political and professional qualities, and put forward four requirements for their work of confidential communications.
First, staff of the bureau should attach great importance to the confidential communication work, carry forward the Party's fine style of work, constantly reform and innovate, strengthen team building, as well as deliver Party and state confidential pieces of mail safely, accurately and timely, contributing to building a well-off society in an all-round way and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
Second, staff of the bureau should continue to improve their capabilities and take on the glorious task that the Party Central Committee and the State Council have entrusted to China Post.
Third, staff of the bureau should fulfill the responsibility of engaging in special postal services, and further consolidate and publicize the brand and image of China Post.
Fourth, the bureau should resolutely shoulder responsibilities and strive to be a banner of the national postal service.
