China Post's “Strategic Implementation and Leadership Improvement Training for General Managers of County-level Branches” Project won the “Excellent Practice Award” of the Association for Talent Development (ATD) in 2018 recently.

This is the third time that the innovative practice of China Post’s training program has won this award; the last two times were in 2011 and 2014.

The “Strategic Implementation and Leadership Improvement Training for General Managers of County-level Branches” Project has accurately matched the strategic needs of enterprises, innovated and designed a practical training program of “supporting strategy, strengthening performance and enhancing ability,” as well as adopted the interactive teaching mode of “Knowledge Input + Case Sharing + Topic Discussion.”

China Post has organized 14 training courses in 2016 and 2017. What's more, it has trained 1,288 trainees, gathered more than 1,200 typical operation and development cases of county-level branches of China Post, and produced more than 140 research achievements which can help grass-roots postal enterprises develop in a high-quality manner.

“The practice has appropriate design value, maintains consistency with other talent strategies, satisfies training needs and delivers sustained, clear and measurable results to the organization,” the ATD Award Committee stated.

In addition, the project won the Best Practice Award for Performance Improvement in October 2018, which was jointly selected by the China Performance Improvement Expert Committee and the International Society for Performance Improvement-China (ISPI-China).
