The Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China (MOT) recently issued the Decision of the MOT on the Recognition of Advanced Collectives and Individuals in the Construction of Spiritual Civilization in the National Transport Industry in 2016-2017. 

Eight collectives and five individuals in the postal system won the honorary title of Advanced Collective and Advanced Individual in the Construction of Spiritual Civilization in the National Transport Industry in 2016-2017. 

In order to further cultivate education and morals, or so-called "spiritual civilization" throughout the postal system, China Post decided to commend China Post Cangzhou in north China's Hebei Province and two other collectives which were awarded the title of Civilized Unit in the national transportation industry by the MOT,  China Post Chuanying in northeast China's Jilin Province and four other collectives which were awarded the title of Civilized Model Demonstration Windows in the national transportation industry by the MOT. Chai Shanshan and another three individuals were awarded the title of Civilized Worker Pacesetter in the national transportation industry by the MOT, and Lin Xiao  was awarded the title of Advanced Worker of Spiritual Civilization Construction in the national transportation industry by the MOT.  

China Post will give material rewards to the awarded collectives according to the authority and regulations of hierarchical management, and will award 15,000 yuan (2,215.49 U.S. dollars) to each of the awarded individuals.
