During the peak season of the Spring Festival in 2019, China Post made sure that users could enjoy high-quality delivery service during this traditional festival.
China Post and the China Postal Express & Logistics occupy the first two places among the five big mail delivery enterprises according to the report on the operation of the postal industry during the Spring Festival released by the State Post Bureau of the People's Republic of China.
After effective analysis of production data in recent years, the Network Operation Control Center of China Post planned the production and operation of the whole network during the peak season in advance.
According to actual production, the center carried out dynamic real-time dispatching to ensure network transportation was balanced and stable, which has greatly improved the customer experience.
According to statistics, China Post received a total of 288 million pieces of mail during the Spring Festival, up 12 percent from a year earlier. What's more, the peak daily mail capacity was 22.09 million.
The network transportation production organizations at all levels deal with a total of 720 million mail pouches, an average of 45.09 million per day recorded during this Spring Festival, peaking at 48.99 million per day.
China Post delivered 270 million pieces of mail in total, with an average of 17.3 million per day, an increase of 8.7 percent from a year earlier. Of these, 180 million were delivered in cities, accounting for 65 percent. Meanwhile, 90 million were delivered in rural areas, accounting for 35 percent.
Data show that the customer service demand of 11183, a customer service hotline of China Postal Express & Logistics, decreased by 36.6 percent during this Spring Festival, showing that the customer experience has been significantly improved.
