China Post Hulunbuir Issues Countdown Commemorative Postmark of 14th National Winter Games
| China Post |2019-02-27

On the first anniversary of the countdown to the 14th National Winter Games, China Post Hulunbuir Branch in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region reached a strategic cooperation agreement with the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Hulunbuir Municipal Committee on February 16, 2019.

The branch issued a countdown commemorative postmark in all postal outlets and postal sections of the city.

In order to publicize the activity, the branch also had specially-assigned postal workers stamping the import and export mail with the commemorative postmark. They also launched a one-year countdown publicity campaign, so that users can get information about the games while receiving mail.

The branch has produced 200 commemorative postmarks, and 189 of them were distributed to its postal outlets and entrusted agencies. Moreover, 11 were distributed to the Parcel, Express and Logistics Business Unit of China Post Group and the game's main stadium theme post office to stamp import and export letters, parcels and other mail.

The 14th National Winter Games will be held in Inner Mongolia in 2020. The National Winter Games of China are held every 4-5 years. The latest was held in 2016 in Urumqi, capital of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
