An inaugural flight of the postal all-cargo air route from Xi'an, Shaanxi, to Moscow, Russia, was successfully completed on April 14.

It is reported that the maiden flight carried 13.8 tons of cargo, mainly international mail items and cross-border e-commerce parcels to Russia. The flight of this air route is operated by Russia’s Atran Airlines, Shaanxi Postal Branch is responsible for organizing the cargo. The opening of this postal all-cargo air route will greatly improve the freight transportation efficiency from Shaanxi and the central and western regions of China to Russia, and reduce the transportation time by 3 to 5 days. In the next step, Shaanxi Postal Branch will take the opening of this route as an opportunity to build its key international transportation lines.
