On May 18, the 1^st set of individualized stamps specially designed for the 19^th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022 (hereafter referred to as Hangzhou Asian Games) was issued. This set of stamps has the emblem of the Hangzhou Asian Games as the main image and the main stadium as the attached one. 3D virtual scenes may come into sight when scanned through the E-Sports app “fu’nengyayun” or Alipay in a smartphone. The AR technology used in the stamps may enable the philatelists to interact with the stamps and to learn more about the Games.

According to the franchise plan of the Hangzhou Asian Games, the organizing committee and China Post will work together to issue a series of stamps and philatelic products from 2019 to 2022. The content will cover the emblem, the mascots, the stadiums and other elements of the Hangzhou Asian Games, trying to interpret the positioning of “New Era, Great Asian Games” in the form of postage stamps and assisting to present the features of the Hangzhou Asian Games and Asian Para Games—Chinese grandeur, Zhejiang style, Hangzhou flavour and Shared by all.
