On October 9, the 50th World Post Day, Panda Post Office at Panda Base (Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding) was unveiled. This is the 4th outlet under the banner of Panda Post, affiliated to the postal branch of Chengdu City under Sichuan Postal Branch. Six years ago, Chengdu postal branch established the first Panda Post Office with panda culture as its core element. So far, apart from the flagship outlet on Shaocheng Road near the Kuanzhai Alley, panda theme post offices have been opened in tourist hotspots such as Jinli Ancient Street and Luodai Ancient Town. Thus, the mode of the theme post office chains has taken shape. The Chengdu Panda Base outlet also focuses on panda culture, providing postcards, stamp albums, seals, toys, and other panda cultural and creative products.  By October 8, the store has generated a revenue of 383,100 yuan (about 54,136 US dollars) in one month of trial operation, among which the daily average during the National Day holiday was 35,600 yuan (about 5,031 US dollars), with the maximum daily income reaching nearly 60,000 yuan (about 8,479 US dollars).
