Wuhan Postal Branch serves Military World Games
| China Post |2019-10-18

The 7th CISM Military World Games was held in Wuhan, capital of Central China's Hubei Province, from Oct 18 to Oct 27. On October 14, the two post offices Wuhan Postal Branch had set up at the athletes' village and the Main Media Center were officially opened. On the same day, these post offices began to see the first peak. Many athletes and media reporters went there to handle postal services and purchase featured philatelic products.

As an important public service facility for the Games, the 260-square-meter business hall in the post office at the athletes' village is divided into three areas—the postal service counter, the cultural service area and the product display area—where athletes and other customers could conduct mail services, purchase philatelic products, make personalized postcards and stamps, and stamp commemorative postmarks. The post office at the Main Media Center has a postal service counter and a product display area, where the reporters from different countries and the working staff in the venue could send their mail and purchase philatelic products and souvenirs.
