On 27 October, the awards ceremony of the final competition of the Third China Postcard Cultural Creativity and Design Contest & the First “I Love Pandas” International Children’s Postcard-painting Contest was held in Xiamen City, Fujian Province. The seven-month event dropped its curtain successfully.

The competition started in March. Totally 23, 000 entries were received. The total number of votes reached 3.11 million, of which 12, 000 are online votes. In addition, the bonus points segment of making postcards was added in this year’s contest, with 5597 sets of WeChat DIY entries received.

It was said that other sub-matches such as the 1st “I Love Pandas” International Children’s Postcard-painting Competition, the Theme Contest of Chinese stories in Picture Books and the Postcard Creativity and Design Contest of Assisting “Winter Olympic Messengers” were also held. It is worth mentioning that the 1st “I Love Pandas” International Children’s Postcard-painting Competition received 2067 sets of entries from 28 countries and regions, which uplifted the international influences of this activity.
