On December 7, news conference of official postal & express services exclusive supplier of Beijing 2022 OPWG and the issuing ceremony of the personalized stamps with Beijing 2022 OPWG emblems were held at the information hall on the first floor of China Post Group in Beijing. As the official postal & express services exclusive supplier of Beijing 2022 OPWG, China Post will meet the needs of Beijing 2022 OPWG before and during the games, offering full range of postal products and services such as EMS, parcel delivery, philatelic products and comprehensive on-site services. He Jianghai, Deputy Secretary General of Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic Winter Games, presented Liu Aili, Chairman of China Post Group, with the nameplate of Official Postal & Express Services Exclusive Supplier of Beijing 2022 OPWG.

As Mr. Liu Aili mentioned, China Post and the Olympic Games have always had a profound historical relationship. Piao Xuedong, Director of the Marketing Department of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic Winter Games said China Post has once again joined hands with the Olympic Games and started a new journey to serve the preparations for the winter Olympics. In order to further promote the Beijing OPWG and help spread the Chinese sports spirit to the world, China Post has issued personalized volunteer service stamps  with the emblems of Beijing 2022 OPWG. At the press conference, Zhang Jinliang, President of China Post Group, and Xu Zhijun, Deputy Secretary General of Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic Winter Games jointly unveiled the stamps.　

There are two stamps in the set，showing the emblems of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympics respectively. The attached parts of the stamps are the emblem of the volunteer for Beijing 2022 OPWG released on December 5. The design of the stamps also conveys the Olympic spirit, making several new records. For the first time, one set of two stamps with two emblems of the OPWG, is issued instead of just one set of one stamp in the past. In terms of design, the shape of the stamps is octagonal rather than rectangular, symbolizing warm welcome from China to visitors from all over the world to celebrate the great event. The shape of the octagon is inspired by the shape of palace lanterns in traditional Chinese culture, the symbol of the Spring Festival, when the Beijing OPWG will be held. With its unique and distinctive art form, the stamps integrate the culture of Winter Games and China, giving visitors a unique visual experience. From the date of official issuance of the stamps, related philatelic products made and issued by the China National Philatelic Corporation are also put on sale simultaneously.
