On May 27, China Post Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China Post) and China State Construction Engineering Corporation (hereinafter referred to as CSCEC) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Beijing. Liu Aili, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Chairman of China Post, Zhang Jinliang, President of China Post, Kang Ning, Vice President, and Guo Chenglin, Chief Accountant, together with Zhou Naixiang, Secretary of the Leading Party Members’ Group and Chairman of CSCEC, Zheng Xuexuan, President of CSCEC, Zhao Xiaojiang, Vice President, and Huang Kesi, Vice President attended the signing ceremony. Zhang Jinliang and Zheng Xuexuan signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.

China Post and CSCEC are both state-owned enterprises directly governed by the State Council. At present, the two sides are cooperating in many fields such as financial business and large-scale civil engineering projects. Based on the principles of equality, voluntariness, reciprocity, and win-win, the two parties signed the agreement to establish a comprehensive and long-term strategic cooperative partnership, thus giving full play to the capabilities and strengths of their respective professional fields, achieving resource sharing and complementary advantages, and further promoting the common development of both parties.

During the talks before the signing ceremony, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on strengthening cooperation. Zhou Naixiang extended warm welcome to Liu Aili and his party, and expressed thanks for the long-term good service provided by China Post. CSCEC and China Post are both stated-own enterprises and shoulder a common mission. Both Parties have carried out fruitful cooperation for a long time and have great potential for future cooperation. It is hoped that both parties will make full use of their respective advantages to carry out in-depth pragmatic cooperation in major project investment and construction, financial business, express logistics, rural revitalization, etc., so as to jointly promote high-quality development of enterprises, and contribute to the decisive battle to overcome poverty and build a well-off society in an all-round way.

According to the agreement, the two parties will carry out strategic cooperation in major project construction, joint development of real estate, integration of industry and finance, finance, express logistics, etc. In terms of major project construction cooperation, the two parties will actively expand in-depth cooperation in major project construction scheme design, construction drawing design, construction and project general contracting. In the area of real estate joint development and cooperation, the two parties will actively promote cooperation in areas such as land and old building renovation to maintain and increase the value of state-owned assets. In the aspect of the integration of industry and finance, both sides should serve the national major regional development strategy, carry out industrial investment and industrial introduction cooperation around the new construction and revitalization of various large-scale infrastructure projects, so as to add vitality to the local economy. In terms of financial cooperation, cooperation will be carried out in the areas of direct combination of the bank and the enterprise, investment banking and financial markets, supply chain financial services, personal financial services, corporate financial services, insurance business, and securities business. China Post will provide various professional services such as equity financing, debt financing, asset securitization, and asset management for CSCEC and its subsidiary companies, provide payroll services and integrated personal financial services such as deposits, remittances, wealth management and credit, and provide CSCEC’ employees and their family with group welfare insurance protection plan services, stock custody, securities margin trading and other services. In terms of express logistics cooperation, China Post will provide logistics services such as warehousing, transportation, etc., as well as various value-added services such as domestic and international express delivery services, payment collection, and document return. In other aspects, China Post will also provide services such as brand publicity, customer maintenance, business promotion, service construction, and corporate culture construction for CSCEC, and explore public welfare and charity activities to innovate poverty alleviation models.
