On the morning of June 11, the first “Sichuan Postal Branch” branded block train customized with the integrated development of “market procurement + cross-border e-commerce” departed from Chengdu, carrying hand tools, lamps and other small commodities with a value of 33.36 million yuan (about 4.71 million USD). The train will leave Chinese borders from Alashankou port, passing through Kazakhstan, Poland and other countries, running a total of 9500km, and arrive at the Amazon overseas warehouse in Budapest in 18 days.
Market procurement trade is of great significance to the “going global” of small commodities. This time, the launch of “Sichuan Postal Branch” block train realizes the organic integration of market procurement and cross-border e-commerce, and opens a new chapter for their integrated development.
“Market demand determines the integrated development of market procurement and cross-border e-commerce.” The relevant official in charge of the Jinniu District Market Procurement Trade Service Center in Chengdu introduced that in promoting the market procurement pilot work, Chengdu Customs District P. R. China, Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce and Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Commerce and other provincial and municipal departments proactively coordinated with one another and solved the problems of single export channel and difficulties in transport capacity in accordance with the overall deployment of the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China to support the integrated development of market procurement and cross-border e-commerce. Therefore, the first customized block train was successfully launched, which was achieved with the strong support of the departments at the provincial, municipal and district levels.
As of June 10, 6141 pilot entities have registered for market procurement trade mode in Jinniu District, and the value of goods completed customs declaration has exceeded 3.4 billion yuan (about 480 million USD), which are mainly exported to 23 countries such as Poland, Singapore and Belarus.
