On September 18, China Post Group Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as China Post Group) signed a project in-depth cooperation agreement with the Nanjing Municipal People’s Government at the signing ceremony of major projects at 2020 China (Nanjing) Golden Autumn Economic and Trade Fair.

Based on their respective development strategies and functions, both sides will focus on the demands for industrial upgrading and high quality development, and grasp the development opportunities of the construction of “new infrastructure”. Following the principle of “mutual complementarity, win-win cooperation, concentrated innovation and common development”, the two parties will carry out all-dimensional, multi-tiered and wide-ranging in-depth cooperation in six aspects including building China Post inbound and outbound distribution and processing center, constructing Nanjing international cargo and mail processing center, pushing forward the implementation of China Post international cargo and mail integrated core port project, promoting the implementation of comprehensive supervision mode of the Customs, speeding up the construction of global flights network, and advancing the development of major functional platforms.

According to the agreement, Nanjing municipal government will provide China Post with good business environment and broad development space, and render China Post comprehensive coordination in the planning and layout of the whole city, the integration of resources and major investment and construction projects. China Post will in turn take Nanjing as the national hub to develop global postal logistics services, give priority to the deployment of core services, the investment of high quality resources and the construction of major projects in Nanjing, promote the implementation of more new technologies, new business modes and forms, and improve the role of air cargo and mail shipment as a major engine driving the development of real economy, thereby facilitating to enhance Nanjing's status as an important national comprehensive transportation hub and its international level.
