China Banking Association released the list of "Excellent News Reports of China’s Banking Industry in 2020" and "Experts with Outstanding Contributions to the Publicity of China’s Banking Industry in 2020" on January 15. The anti-pandemic series reports “We Are Together” launched by the Postal Savings Bank of China (PSBC) on its official WeChat account “PSBC Plus” won the Outstanding News Report Award of the financial institutions group in "Excellent News Reports of China’s Banking Industry in 2020"， and Mr. Lou Feipeng, a researcher from PSBC, was selected as one of the "Experts with Outstanding Contributions to the Publicity of China’s Banking Industry in 2020".　　

After the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, PSBC has quickly launched and continued the anti-pandemic publicity while making all efforts to support the fight against the pandemic, ensure the provision of financial services, contribute to economic reopening, and better serve the real economy. Starting from January 26, 2020 (the second day of Chinese Lunar New Year), PSBC began the anti-pandemic reports on its official WeChat account, and then opened a special column called "We Are Together" to keep publicizing the major decisions and plans of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on fighting against the pandemic, as well as the requirements of the regulatory authorities, highlighting the measures taken and the achievements made by PSBC in supporting the fight against the pandemic, communicating to the society PSBC's all-out efforts in fighting against COVID-19 and ensuring its financial services, and actively disseminating the knowledge of epidemic prevention to its employees and the general public as well. The special column posted a total of 51 anti-pandemic reports, some of which were widely adopted by the news media, with the original and shared content on its own channels drawing over 3 million clicks. As a result, it strongly promoted the great spirit of solidarity in combating the pandemic, pooled strong anti-pandemic force, and strengthened the faith in winning the battle against the virus, thus demonstrating the responsibilities of PSBC as one of China's major state-owned commercial banks.

Since the year of 2012, China Banking Association has released each year the list of "Excellent News Reports of China’s Banking Industry" for 9 consecutive years. The solicitations of excellent news reports in 2020 were directed to all the member units of the Association, the central-level news outlets and the mainstream media, and received wide and active responses. After strict judging process, together with the voting results from the public, the final list of "Excellent News Reports of China’s Banking Industry in 2020" was generated.

Mr. Lou Feipeng from PSBC’s Strategic Development Department was also conferred the honorary title of "Experts with Outstanding Contributions to the Publicity of China’s Banking Industry in 2020" together with other 9 people by China Banking Association. With his 29 signed articles on economic and financial hot topics, and more than a hundred interviews given to different media last year, Mr. Lou played an active part in building the interactive bridge between the financial industry and the public, and contributed a lot to the establishment of the industry's good image.
