On January 14, China Post Group Corporation Limited (China Post Group) and China United Network Communications Group Co., Ltd. (China Unicom) jointly held a thematic teleconference on business cooperation. It is said that both sides should bear the principle of resource sharing, mutual benefits and progress and win-win cooperation in mind so as to further enhance the depth, width and potential of the mutual cooperation, thereby putting the strategic cooperation into practice and achieving tangible results. Kang Ning, Vice President of China Post Group, and Fan Yunjun, Vice President of China Unicom attended the conference and proposed relevant requirements.
Fan Yunjun reviewed the efforts and achievements both sides have made since they carried out strategic cooperation, and expressed thanks to the support given by China Post. He required all branches of China Unicom to pay high attention to the cooperation with China Post, give it to full play the advantage of China Unicom’s IT intensification, strengthen the deep integration of channels, products and clients and speed up customizing logistic cooperation plans, thereby enabling the practical effectiveness of mutual cooperation. He hoped that both sides could join hands, work toward higher cooperative target with wider vision and more tenacious efforts, and jointly draw a grand blueprint for long-term strategic cooperation.
Kang Ning highly affirmed the achievements both sides have made in the strategic cooperation. He said that since the signing of the strategic cooperation agreement, fruitful results have been made in the cooperation on channels and branches, efforts in financial cooperation have been paid off, express and logistic cooperation have been officially launched and cooperation on telecommunication leased lines has been continued. He pointed that the cooperation between China Post and China Unicom enjoys a good foundation and rich customer resources and channel resources, especially the unique advantage of channel resources from China Post. Both parties need to take this conference as an opportunity to further boost the width, depth, potential and effect of the mutual cooperation. He hoped that both sides could seek further cooperation in delivery and financial businesses to ensure that the strategic cooperation can be put into place and deliver substantial achievements, and the influence of both brands can be expanded, thereby presenting a gift to the 100the anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China with excellent performance.
At the conference, branches of China Post Group from Anhui and Jiangxi also shared their cooperation experience. Besides, China Unicom Channel Operation Center, China Post Group E-commerce Distribution Bureau as well as the Parcel, Express and Logistics Business Unit made detailed deployment on the further cooperation.
