At 12:29 on September 14, in the clear and crisp autumn air, flight CF241, a Boeing 737 flight with “EMS” sprayed on its vertical tail, took off from Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport, and it safely landed at Kansai International Airport in Osaka, Japan in light rain at 14:15. This marks the official opening of the "Dalian-Osaka" international route of China Post.

"Dalian-Osaka" international route is China Post’s second international route departing from Dalian, and also the third international route opened by China Post after "Nanjing-Osaka" and "Guangzhou-Tokyo" routes this year. And it is the 4th international route to Osaka and the 7th to Japan.

The four nodes of Dalian, Nanjing, Shanghai, and Yiwu are connected to form a beautiful coastal arc on China Post's independent aviation network. The time limit of the mail to Japan and Osaka within the coverage of the arc area has been comprehensively improved.

Since 2020, with the in-depth advancement of actively serving the new development pattern of dual circulation (in domestic and foreign markets)" and the continuous introduction of corresponding measures in the "post epidemic era", China Post has sped up the layout of international routes of its own aviation network, and the opening of international routes has been accelerated. Before 2020, there were only 4 regular international (regional) routes in China Post's independent aviation network, and now there are 12. At the same time, the airline density and the number of flights of routes "Shanghai Pudong-Tokyo", "Shanghai Pudong-Osaka", "Yiwu-Osaka", "Kunming-Bangkok" and "Xi'an-Seoul" have been increased. While comprehensively promoting the "entering villages, entering factories and going abroad " project of the express industry and expanding the "going abroad" channels, the high-quality air routes to Japan are created to effectively support the development of international delivery business, and improve the time limit and service quality of China Post EMS international mail comprehensively. 

The opening of "Dalian-Osaka" international route is also another beneficial attempt for Liaoning Postal Branch to give full play to the advantages of cross-border e-commerce delivery main channel and better help stabilize the foreign trade, ensure market players and the stability of the industrial chain and supply chain.
