From November 5 to 10, the 4th China International Import Expo (hereinafter referred to as CIIE) was held in Shanghai. As the core supporting enterprise of the 4th CIIE and the designated delivery service provider of the CIIE and the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), Shanghai Postal Branch has elaborately built a theme post office of the CIIE to provide integrated comprehensive delivery services, postal services and financial services for guests from the world.

This year, with the strong support of China Post Group Corporation Limited, Shanghai Postal Branch has got the central advertising space in the center square of the pavilion from the first to the third floor, the north square of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), and the forum center. It has achieved a very good publicity effect with the combination of print ads and video ads. At the theme post office located in the center of the pavilion, Shanghai Postal Branch has launched CIIE theme philatelic products, the commemorative stamp album of “100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China”. They also put on sale commemorative stamp albums with local cultural characteristics that reflect the history, development and beauty of the amazing city Shanghai and some cultural and creative products. Shanghai Postal Branch has also joined hands with local supply and marketing cooperatives to display and sell specialty agricultural products from the Yangtze River Delta, featured products of Shanghai old brands, and agricultural products from Qingpu District of Shanghai at the theme post offices, so as to expand the popularity of its distribution brand of China Post by making full use of the CIIE platform. The intelligent robot in the theme post office can provide services such as intelligent guidance, voice interaction and product introduction to enhance customer experience.

During the exhibition, Shanghai Postal Branch has provided exhibitors and participants with targeted collection and delivery services. They also offer free trolley service to enhance the delivery experience of customers. The mail collected in the pavilion will be transported to Xujing Business Office by special vehicles for dispatch at the end of each day. At the same time, Shanghai Postal Branch works with the Postal Savings Bank of China Shanghai Branch to carry out on-site financial services, offering agent banking products, and dealing with credit card applications for customers through an application launched by the Postal Savings Bank of China. Shanghai Postal Branch has also held “One Day One Theme” activities for volunteers, medical staff, journalists, police officers and other service staff at the CIIE, such as the “116 Volunteer Day” and the “118 Journalist Day” to give people a little more pleasant surprise and care when they enter the theme post office.
