On December 31, 2021, the safe landing of flight CF9022 (Shanghai-Beijing) at Beijing Capital International Airport marked China Postal Airlines has successfully accomplished the 25th year of safe flying, with more than 40,000 hours of flight time in 2021. Wen Shaoqi, Vice President of China Post Group, came to the tarmac to sincerely shake hands with the crew members. On behalf of the Leading Party Members’ Group of China Post Group, he thanked the crew for their hard work and wished them a good start in the new year of ongoing contributions to the development of China Post.

Adhering to the policy of "comprehensive management with putting safety first and focusing on risk prevention", China Postal Airlines has always considered security as a matter of first importance in the last 25 years, and has always strengthened production safety and enhanced flight operation quality, protecting the bottom line of security. As a result, the cumulative safe operation time has exceeded 510,000 hours, making China Postal Airlines a safe, reliable, independent and controllable aviation logistics network.

Especially since 2021, China Postal Airlines has carried forward the great spirit of fighting COVID-19, implemented the decisions of the CPC Central Committee and the requirements of Civil Aviation Administration of China and China Post Group. A series of activities in conduct improvement has been carried out, with the theme of "regulation construction and implementation", and a three-year campaign for work safety rectification has been pushed forward continuously. With the institutionalized, systematic and standardized safety management methods formed over the years, China Postal Airlines has boosted the campaign of "clearance of problems and hidden dangers", achieving better clarification of safety responsibility and standardization of safety management, ensuring the stable and controllable operation throughout the year.

In 2021, sporadic or concentrated epidemics occurred in many places. With a high sense of political responsibility, the Party Committee of China Postal Airlines worked hard to continue production when flights stopped, ensuring production safety while strengthening epidemic prevention and control. Once again, the company withstood the test of the epidemic, and strongly supported the development of China Post's delivery business.

In 2021, China Postal Airlines opened several international routes including "Nanjing-Osaka", "Guangzhou-Tokyo" and "Dalian-Osaka", as well as a number of special routes for "EMS fresh delivery service", providing transport capacity for postal delivery, especially for cross-border e-commerce business. China Postal Airlines successfully conducted the test flights of B757-200F on the two routes, namely "Chengdu-Lhasa" and "Lanzhou-Golmud" over the high plateau, and launched the maiden flight on a high-plateau route "Chengdu-Ngari", enabling China Post's independent aviation network to cover the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. In 2021, China Postal Airlines also successively won several honorary titles for its outstanding performance in civilization construction.
