Seven days before the opening of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games, as the exclusive official postal service provider, China Post has set up 16 postal service outlets in three competition zones: Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou. Up to now, all 16 outlets have completed their preparation work, and 13 outlets have been in full operation. When the time comes, all these outlets will provide with professional, high-quality and efficient services for the Winter Olympics.

The outlets of Beijing Postal Branch in the competition zones in Beijing and its Yanqing district—the National Stadium, the National Aquatics Center, Capital Indoor Stadium, Big Air Shougang, Beijing Olympic Village, Wukesong Sports Center, the Main Media Center, Yanqing Olympic Village, InterContinental Beijing Beichen and Banquan Service Area, have officially opened. All the outlets strictly control the procedures of collecting, mailing, transportation and delivery of mail items, implement rules of 100% mail inspection and real-name mailing, carefully register relevant addresses and contents information, and provide services with dedicated personnel, vehicles, routes and zones to make sure that the postal channel is completely safe and secure. All outlets take the anti-virus measures that people and items in the outlets must be checked. All service personnel strictly monitor their body temperature on a regular basis every day, and wear protective masks, face masks and disposable gloves throughout the working period to strengthen the regular epidemic prevention and control.

The outlets of Hebei Postal Branch in Zhangjiakou Mountain Press Center, Zhangjiakou Olympic Village and the Genting Snow Park, Zhangjiakou, have officially opened. The outlet at Guyangshu venue cluster is in the testing stage and is expected to open officially on February 3. In order to contain the epidemic, the postal outlets are thoroughly sterilized and disinfected before opening every day, and the disinfection will then be repeated once every hour. When customers enter the outlet, they will first go through the hand disinfection and temperature registration. Each counter also provides disinfection tools and the disinfection is carried out again after the service. After the business hours, all items collected that day will be gathered together for a thorough disinfection again, and the office supplies and uniforms will be disinfected too.
