On April 12, China Post Group Corporation Limited (hereafter referred to as China Post Group) and CITIC Group signed a strategic partnership agreement in Beijing. Chairman Liu Aili of China Post Group, President Zhang Jinliang, Vice President Kang Ning, Assistant to President Zhang Xuewen, and Chairman Zhu Hexin of CITIC Group, Vice Chairman and President Xi Guohua, Vice President Li Qingping and Vice President Wang Guoquan, had an in-depth discussion on strengthening all-round strategic partnership. Kang Ning and Li Qingping signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.

China Post Group and CITIC Group have maintained all along a sound partnership. Boosted organizationally, they have carried out cooperation in various business and projects. Based on thorough consultation, both parties will give full play to their own advantages, and share business information and project resources through diversified forms, to jointly explore great opportunities for business cooperation. Both sides will continue to work closely for all-dimensional, multi-field and deep-going strategic cooperation, thereby promoting high-quality mutual development.

In terms of financial services, affiliated financial institutions of the two sides will carry out extensive cooperation in banking, securities, insurance, assets management, funds and other fields, sharing business resources and offering support to each other’s business development. Among others, both sides will enlist each other’s subsidiary banks as leading cooperative banks. Securities companies of both sides will actively press ahead with the provision of bond services for each other’s subsidiary banks. And their life insurance companies will explore co-insurance cooperation of life insurance business.

In terms of non-financial services, China Post Group will provide CITIC Group and its subsidiaries with domestic and international express delivery and logistics services, collection on delivery, return of original documents, appointed delivery of registered mail, and other express and logistics services. It will offer CITIC Group and its affiliated units scenario marketing services like event planning, product promotion, customer acquisition marketing, etc., facilitate them to disseminate their corporate image and promote their products, and serve the corporate clients of CITIC Group with the cultural and creative products of China Post. Meanwhile, both sides will explore cooperation in cargo aircraft lease as well as logistics and express services via industrial drones. They will both respond to the Belt and Road Initiative positively, and jointly expand overseas market. The two parties will strengthen cooperation in e-commerce, and carry out cooperation in membership platforms. They will also advance cooperation in the fields of publication and distribution, online learning, as well as development and sales of cultural and creative products.

Both sides agreed on establishing a consultation and exchange mechanism, designating counterpart liaison departments, building joint teams, enhancing regular communication, and accelerating the implementation of cooperation projects.
