From April 20 to 22, Boao Forum for Asia (hereinafter referred to as BFA) Annual Conference 2022 took place in Boao, Hainan. Focusing on delivery security and corporate stability and making every effort to contain the epidemic, Hainan Postal Branch has ensured the smooth and safe operation of the parcel, express and logistics channel during the BFA annual conference with the highest standard, the strictest measures and the best state.

Hainan Postal Branch provided the participating guests of the annual conference with mail services of offshore duty-free items, which effectively saved them from the trouble of carrying large items on board planes and enabled them to enjoy a better shopping experience. To cope with the mailing rush of offshore duty-free items during the BFA annual conference, Hainan Postal Branch made sufficient preparations in the aspects of personnel, material and transportation resources. In the case of mail volume growth, the processes of packaging, sorting and collection were staffed sufficiently to ensure timely shipment. Operation sites were added to serve as mail processing areas in emergency when needed. Work frequency was increased, with the frequency of collection being increased in line with the growth of volumes, and personnel and vehicles being arranged dynamically to ensure the increased transition frequency. Sufficient transportation capacity was provided, with vehicle dispatch frequency being increased to ensure the transit time limit. Proactive customer service was reinforced, with proactive customer service and technical support for offshore duty-free items being strengthened to improve user experience of postal services.

Hainan Postal Branch required that all the staff members entering the core area of the conference should be one hundred percent vaccinated and boosted, take nucleic acid tests once a day, take their body temperature, and wear medical masks, and that workplaces and vehicles be ventilated and disinfected. To ensure the security of the mail, all items addressed to Qionghai must strictly comply with the “three 100%” requirements for the mailing process, that is, 100% check of contents, 100% real names of the sender and receiver, and 100% security inspection and disinfection. In cooperation with postal administration, mail items bound for Boao area were gathered and subject to unified security checks and disinfection at the designated area to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the parcel, express and logistics channel. Key inspections were carried out focusing on mail items collected from hotels, railway stations, street mail boxes and other places where people flow, to check and intercept prohibited items such as guns, explosives, drugs, pornography, illegal publications and dangerous chemicals. Meanwhile, Hainan Postal Branch has arranged for dedicated personnel, mail routes, vehicles, inspection and service to make sure that there are absolutely no missteps in this regard.
