A couple of days ago, China Banking and Insurance News (CBIN) released a list of brand influence models of financial institutions in China. China Post Life Insurance Co Ltd (hereinafter referred to as China Post Life Insurance) was selected as one of the top 10 financial institutions for its outstanding social responsibility performance.
The list was generated after evaluating the entries from multiple dimensions, by CBIN together with the world's leading brand valuation and strategy consultancies such as BrandFinance and BrandZ, and China’s professional institutes such as China Social Responsibility 100 Forum under the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Business Brand Institute (BBI) of the Communication University of China. China Post Life Insurance has been insisting on going back to the fundamental purpose of insurance by serving real economy and promoting the development of society and people's livelihood. Leveraging the postal network and resources, China Post Life Insurance takes “serving the communities as well as agriculture, rural areas and farmers” as its aspirations and missions, conscientiously fulfilling its political, economic and social responsibilities, and facilitating rural revitalization. In these efforts, it has achieved coordinated growth of speed, scale, quality and efficiency, and blazed a path of insurance development with postal characteristics.
With public interest in mind, China Post Life Insurance fulfills its social responsibilities in its continuous care for left-behind children. After the rainstorm in Henan Province on July 20, 2021, it worked with China Children and Teenagers' Fund to distribute emergency supplies to children and families in the flood-stricken areas, thus delivering love to children in such areas.
China Post Life Insurance always cares for the elderly population. It has completed the renovation and upgrading of its facilities for senior citizens, added new service facilities for them, and increased "one-on-one" guide service, to reduce their waiting time. It has also provided them with door-to-door policy collection and claim settlement service, and educated them about finance, to improve their awareness against internet financial fraud. On July 8 National Insurance Public Awareness Day in 2021, China Post Life Insurance chose to undertake certain donation programs in helping the elderly, and provided them with accident insurance, thus relieving special elderly population from practical difficulties with concrete actions.
