At 15:55 on May 12, a China Postal Airlines Boeing 737-300 aircraft fully loaded with international mail items and semiconductor chip products took off from Xi'an Xianyang International Airport in Shaanxi and flew to Seoul Incheon International Airport in the Republic of Korea, which marked that China Postal Airlines officially opened the dedicated air cargo route between Xi'an and Seoul.

This air route runs on a schedule of four flights a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday), the main services of which cover cargo and mail transportation for the key enterprises of semiconductor memory chips and machine manufacturing, as well as consignment of personal articles, samples and documents from foreign trade companies, and bulk orders from cross-border ecommerce companies. Supported by the People’s Government of Shaanxi Province, Xi'an Customs District, China West Airport Group and other authorities, Shaanxi Postal Branch actively engages in the development of local economy and key industries, and takes advantage of the postal resources to secure the stable supply chain of the leading semiconductor enterprises in Shaanxi.
