On May 25, a container loaded with more than 800 pieces, over 50 cubic meters, of goods was shipped from Weihai, Shandong to Incheon, the Republic of Korea (ROK), marking the official operation of Shandong-ROK dedicated express shipping route, the first one launched by Shandong Postal Branch. The route, on which commodities undergo commercial customs clearance and are loaded to the container by postal staff, starts from Weihai Port though FCL shipping and reaches the whole territory of the ROK, 6 times per week.  

At the price of maritime transport and with the time limit of air transport, Shandong-ROK express shipping route also provides its clients with value-added services such as information system API connection, online document preparation and printing, whole-process information tracking and proactive customer service. While complementing the China-ROK maritime EMS service, which enjoys sufficient transport capacity and overnight shipping, this route further enriches the product range of the parcel, express and logistics service to the ROK, and provides cross-border e-commerce clients in Shandong with another comprehensive solution to ROK-bound shipping.
