On July 17, the first Chongqing-Belarus test container loaded with outbound mail bags was successfully shipped via a China-Europe freight train. It is expected to arrive in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, in early August.

Currently, affected by the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, the mail route from Chongqing to Poland is unstable in delivery times and expensive in costs. In order to solve the problem, Chongqing Postal Branch, supported by the Parcel, Express and Logistics Business Unit of China Post Group, has begun to expand the channels for Europe-bound mail transportation by cooperating with Belpost, so that mail items can be transported to Belarus via China-Europe freight trains and thence distributed to 11 European countries.
