On August 4, co-hosted by the Organizing Committee of Photo Beijing 2022 and China Communication Photography Association (hereinafter referred to as CCPA), organized by China Post in rotation, and co-organized by China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, China Tower and other organizations concerned, the “Cloud Image” Popular Mobile Photography Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as the Cloud Image Exhibition) of Photo Beijing 2022 opened in the China Millennium Monument in Beijing. Liu Liqing, chairman of CCPA, presented the Excellent Organizer Award to the Trade Union of China Post Group. Wang Jian, vice president of China Post Group, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. Ma Jianzhong, vice chairman and secretary general of CCPA, presided over the event.

This year is the second time that China Post has organized the Cloud Image Exhibition. Since the launch of this event, China Post has actively collected photos taken with mobile phones from postal employees, and recommended nearly 1,000 excellent works to the organizer. These photos, with the unique charm of mobile photography images, manifest the happy atmosphere of postal employees nationwide in celebrating the upcoming 20th National Congress of the CPC, and fully demonstrate that postal employees remain true to the original aspiration, inherit the Red gene, hold high the banner of the Party, and strive to give their best. They also reveal the vitality of China Post and its employees and write a new chapter of China Post, the “national team” of the postal industry, as it is forging ahead in unity. At the exhibition, many excellent works shot by postal employees attracted the attention of the guests and shutterbugs.

It is understood that the Cloud Image Exhibition is an exhibition brand jointly fostered by the Organizing Committee of Photo Beijing and China Communication Photography Association, and also the only special exhibition held consecutively by Photo Beijing. Since its establishment in 2013, the exhibition, deeply loved by the general public, has become a stage for ordinary people to enter the “palace of photography” and realize their photography dreams, and thereby gained more and more popularity and influence. The theme of this year's exhibition is “New Sight—Together for a Better Future". Since the call for photos began in March, the organizer and co-organizers have given strong support, people from all walks of life have participated actively. Eventually, more than 20,000 works have been received. And altogether 361 works submitted by 274 people have been exhibited after selected by experts.
