The Postal Savings Bank of China (PSBC) was invited to attend the parallel forum on digital economy and fintech at the Annual Conference of Financial Street Forum 2022 held recently. With the theme of "Building a New Model of Fintech Empowerment to Facilitate Rural Revitalization", PSBC introduced its practice of empowering rural revitalization through fintech.

With the new model of "technology plus data plus scenarios", PSBC strives to build a comprehensive digital financial development framework for agriculture, rural areas and farmers with channels, products, platforms, operations and risk control. PSBC has also been innovating models, products and technologies of digital inclusive finance with its own characteristics to serve rural revitalization, and developing demonstration projects of fintech-empowered rural revitalization to promote the digitalization of financial services for agriculture, rural areas and farmers. At the same time, leveraging the natural advantages of the postal system, PSBC has been strengthening the resource integration of rural inclusive financial service outlets and e-commerce service outlets, promoting digitalization, and optimizing the online-offline model of financial services to improve customer experience. In addition, based on technologies like big data and the Internet, PSBC has been pushing forward the construction of rural credit system, building the financial data platform for agriculture, rural areas and farmers, and innovating financial service models for industrial chains to empower the innovation-driven development of rural businesses.
