On December 19, the Philatelic Exhibition to Celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the 2022 Chinese Philatelic Culture School Exhibition were held in the Chinese Foundation Secondary School in Hong Kong.

This is the first time that China Post has put on a large-scale philatelic exhibition in schools in Hong Kong since its return to the motherland. The purpose of this exhibition is to promote Chinese culture to teachers and students in Hong Kong's primary and secondary schools, help better tell China's stories and make China’s voice heard, and present a China that is credible, appealing and respectable, thus enhancing the national identity and national pride among the youth of Hong Kong, and making important contributions to Hong Kong's cultural, educational, economic and social development.

The exhibition was co-sponsored by China Post Hong Kong Limited and Hong Kong East-West Connect Foundation Limited, and co-organized by Guangdong Philatelic Society, Hong Kong Philatelic Society, the Police Philatelic Club, and China Hong Kong (SAR) Philatelic Society. It had received wide support from companies like Hongkong Post, China Unicom, China Mobile, China Telecom and China Tower as well as media from all walks of life.

In conjunction with this philatelic exhibition, a philatelic lecture was given by Sun Haiping, judge of the World Stamp Exhibition of the International Federation of Philately (Fédération Internationale de Philatélie, or FIP), on December 20. After the exhibition in the Chinese Foundation Secondary School, the 2023 Chinese Traditional Philatelic Culture Hong Kong School Tour will also be held to bring more and richer appreciation events of philatelic culture to teachers and students in Hong Kong's primary and secondary schools.
